All you sinners stand up and sing Hallelujah!

It’s almost time of year for “New Year, New Me” bullshit. At this time of year people recall things they are grateful for despite of their misery. One thing that is least appreciated at any time of the year are sinners.

Do sinners mean evils? Who exactly are the people who decide who are sinners and non-sinners per say? Romans 3:23 in Bible says “for all have sinned and fall short of glory of God”. That simply means we are all sinners by nature and we are all guilty before God.

But the world tends to portray sinners as malicious people who try to live outside their societal norms made on the name of religion to control us and divide us. Religion was brought to make human life better instead it started making it bitter.

Who are these people who restrict us doing things to our own body? Why on the earth it bothers them what we put in, what we wear, what we drink, what eat, what we smoke, who we fuck around! Why are we scared to do whatever we want to do to ourselves unless it’s not harming any one? Paulo Coelho once said in Zahir, it’s not what goes in is a sin, it’s what comes out of it. I agree to this thought but that doesn’t make him God of me. Why can’t we accept that there is no order, there is no power, we have been given ability of thinking for ourselves for a reason.

Could we for once stop giving meaning to every damn thing and live for ourselves. And if that makes you a ‘sinner’ then stand up and sing “Hallelujah!”
